In the coming weeks, the mood of acceptance of our new Democratic leaders will seem overwhelming to us Republicans. Our conservative nature doesn't have room for alot of radical revolutionary cutting edge actions. We are left with the role of contrarian "nay-sayers" who are stereotyped as low-brow. It is hard to be looking for faults rather than building confidence, but being out of power forces us into the role of pointing out problems rather than articulating new viewpoints. Its not inspiring to just prove we were right in cases in which the country will be hurt by going down this leftist path. Our inspiration can come from Sarah Palin and her reaction to her mistreatment at the hands of leftists.

I live with my large family in a very progressive city, and a while back, some illegal immigrants from Mexico moved into my neighborhood. Since we own our own homesteads and get to live near the beach, it is impossible to reproduce our situation elsewhere. So we fight for our right to live side by side with non-citizens. This particular situation has given me a close view on what goes wrong with leftists. The most obvious fault here is the acceptance of street crime by Latino gangsters  (our "minority"). It's isn't the Latinos per se, but the white powers-that-be that see any description of the problem as a hate crime. I tried to point out that there were violent heroin dealing gangsters on the streets of my neighborhood, and that the law enforcement problem involved our proximity to Mexico, thus their ability to cross the border and escape. I was treated like Sarah Palin by the left.

The inability to address the situation has resulted in many needless deaths and ruined lives.

     Their weakness is their inability to describe the truth if the truth involves anything remotely politically incorrect. This should be used as our weapon against them. We can speak the truth and address problems.  Those who would weaken our side by fear of being called racists and want to go to the center, don't understand the extremity of our circumstance.  We have to be able to speak openly, we can't become Obama zombies where the fear of being called a racist is being used as a mind control technique.
